Increased access to ZEVs

Description: The Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund awarded funding to the Sacramento Air Quality Management District to start the CarShare program in the Greater Sacramento, CA area. It has provided free access to zero-emission cars to residents at affordable housing communities and at the Sacramento Valley Train Station.

Goal: Increase access to zero-emission vehicles, particularly in low income communities

Measurement: Success of initial implementation will lead to expansion to other cities in region
