Description: The Community Choice Aggregation programs (CCAs) of Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE), Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) and the San Mateo County Office of Sustainability (OOS) are joining together to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within their service territories by providing incentives for development of forward-thinking building and transportation electrification reach codes.
Goal: California Reach Codes for electrification: Encourage cities to develop reach codes for Building Electrification and Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure through technical assistance and financial incentives provided by Community Choice Aggregation Energy programs (CCAs)
Measurement: The number of municipalities in which reach codes are developed and taken to city councils for approval
Time to Implement: Less than 1 year
